Quality spindle bearings manufactured for every application

Spindle bearings are the most common bearing that supports the low-friction rotation of a shaft or spindle as the name suggests. As a 70-year old manufacturer of ball bearing parts, ASKUBAL wants their customer to understand that there are, in fact, many types of spindle bearings and while their basic function is same, their ability to handle radial loading, linear thrust force, or high revolution rates vary immensely.

Bearings are designed with both true bearing balls as well as rollers in various sizes and formations between the inner and outer rings. In almost all situations the balls or rollers are held equidistant by a cage that provides uniform movement. The materials from which the balls or rollers and rings are made also play a large roll in their capability.

These inner contacting parts of the spindle bearing can also be coated with thin films to limit friction and thus reduce wear and increase lifetime. The advances in bearing technology as slight as they may seem have to been honed for many applications and understanding what bearing is best suited for a specific use can be a daunting task.

ASKUBAL focuses on ball bearing products in order to provide expertise to customers when designing-in spindle bearings.
